WESTA took part in the annual state exhibition “Colorful Ukraine 2011”.

16-19 August, 2011 ISIC “WESTA” took part in the annual state exhibition “Colorful Ukraine 2011” held on the territory of the National complex “Expocentre Ukraine” in Kiev.

According to the decree of the President of Ukraine every year in the run-up to the Independence Day a vivid exhibition “Colorful Ukraine” took place that has lately received a wide popularity. Scientific and technical developments, technologies and competitive production designed by the Ukrainian enterprises and presented on the exhibition has proved that it does not yield to international products. This year, an exhibition timed by the 20th anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine was opened by the Prime minister Nikolay Azarov. Among 24 regions presented on the exhibition, Dnepropetrovsk region was awarded the highest prize – Gold symbol and diploma of the exhibition “Colorful Ukraine” and received the highest status among the regions-winners of the competition named “Region-leader in manufacturing of the best domestic goods 2011”. Together with Prime minister, Dnepropetrovsk region exhibition hall was discovered by the governor Alexander Vilkul, representatives of the President administration and Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

ISIC WESTA was one the brightest participants representing Dnepropetrovsk region. On the company’s exhibition stand ISIC WESTA presented its basic manufacturing goods – SLI batteries, its plans on development – creation of the first in CIS production of the VRLA batteries with AGM-separator, design and adoption of green energy-saving technologies using alternative power sources.

On the victory ceremony WESTA’s parent plant – PJSC “WESTA-DNEPR” was decorated with a cup and was given a status “The best domestic product manufacturer 2011”.

ISIC WESTA became one of 111winners of the 7-th Ukrainian competition “The best domestic product 2011” that was a part of the exhibition. Represented lead-acid starter batteries under “WESTA” trademark: 6CT-45Аз (Asian standard), 6СТ-60Аз and 6СТ-192Аз were awarded gold medals and diplomas as the best domestic products in 2011 in the nominee “electrotechnical industry manufacturing products”.
