WESTA is the best Ukrainian accumulator batteries producer of 2012

 In August 2012, WESTA ISIC took part in the Eighth national exhibition "Colorful Ukraine" (Kyiv). This year the National complex “Expocentre Ukraine” has hospitably opened doors for 62 participants of the Dnepropetrovsk region; the Fair gathered more than 200 participants from all regions of Ukraine.

The All- Ukrainian competition "The best domestic product of the year" traditionally was held within the framework of the Exhibition. WESTA Corporation (Dnepropetrovsk) - leader in lead-acid storage batteries production in Ukraine, CIS and Eastern Europe also took part in the Competition.

69 types of hi-tech products, goods and services, were proposed for the nomination "The best domestic product of the year 2012". The Ukrainian enterprises proudly proved that domestic scientific and technical developments, technologies and goods were competitive and did not yield to the best world standards.

Being the participant of the Exhibition, WESTA International Scientific Industrial Corporation, had possibility to present on its stand products of the plants WESTA-DNEPR and WESTA INDUSTRIAL- lead-acid storage batteries, which not only meet technical and operating requirements of the international and national standards but also excel existent analogues. Once again WESTA Corporation was justly declared the best Ukrainian producer of the year. 3 types of storage batteries under ТМ WESTA - 6 CT - 95 A (JIS); 6 CT - 71 A; 6 CT - 70 A (VRLA - AGM) were awarded with the golden medals and diplomas as the best domestic goods of the year 2012 in the nominee “electrotechnical industry products manufacturing”.

In 2012, 118 enterprises-winners of the All-Ukrainian competition were sorted out within the framework of project, 26 from them got cup of the winner, and also the status of "Producer of the best domestic goods 2012" and were decorated with the "Gold symbols of the competition".
This year WESTA will present new product to its customers - valve-regulated lead–acid battery with immobilized electrolyte, the batch production will be started in the near future. World demand on VRLA batteries grows constantly. During the last year the increase made 30%. These accumulators are used for the cars equipped with ecologically effective "Start/Stop" system, and also as stationary and traction batteries of small and middle power.
